This was my situation most of the day while waiting to unloaded. Crane broke down and it took some time to find a replacement.

Good lord, with that many cranes it shouldn't have taken long at all.

Hah, mine was an RT crane.

This one is still here though this picture is from a month or so ago. 20190124_113016.jpg

HP, does your neck get into your fenders when you when have the deck dropped? I would really like to get fenders of some type on the truck, or the neck, but I am leery of welding/drilling on the neck.

I think @johndeere4020 has stainless fenders, and @superhauler has full fenders, so they must clear, but when I look at mine it doesn't look like there is enough room to miss the fenders.

No they clear. Wouldn’t say there is a lot of room, but enough. I set them a little low to give extra room. I have just a slight drag with the bags deflated and about 4 inches tire clearance with them inflated. These are minimizer fenders

Thanks! Where I have walking beam suspension I need more clearance, well that and I need to be able to put tire chains on without tearing up the fenders.

So your neck clears the top of the fenders but doesn't fit between them I gather? I'll probably end up having to trim the inside of whatever fenders I get for clearance.

The way the neck support is on this talbert I have no problem. But it only has one support right in the middle so the neck never really gets close to the frame. I’m more concerned with turning with the neck on the lowest setting. I only have about an 1 1/2 clearance then. So I have to watch for humps and dips then

I would have preferred the fenders on the neck, but it would have involved more installation work

I'm scared to weld or drill on the neck. I could probably get instructions from Aspen as to how to do it properly though.
