Marysville, CA. Saw these fellows (Reeve Co) with a couple bridge beams going to a new site not that far from where I live. 4 total. Front was a 3 axle tractor with 16 tire jeep, rear was a 16/16 steerable. Not sure how long beams were but guessing 100' plus. 6 CHPs. I was going opposite direction with a 325 with a 2' bucket and compaction wheel trying to hide under the ex. Glad they were busy...….

I'm sure it was a non-divisible compaction wheel!

It's always troubled me that you cant haul an extra bucket with an over legal excavator but you can haul an 85K dozer with 3 rippershanks AND detach the dozer blade & reload.??? At least in CA this is the rule.

Yeah I know, seems there ought to be an allowance for necessary attachments. Especially small outfits like mine ; if I haul the hoe without it I may not have a way to load the attachment. I can haul our 345 if I take the counterweight and bucket off, or I can hire it hauled fully dressed by someone with a bigger trailer. Is it not then divisible also? Course I'm not going to bring that up with the powers that be.
