    Yes

    It does make it easier for the permit writes as the don’t have to calculate bridge weights. They designate the bridge purple 9 and green 11 and your inspection report shows what you are allowed by axle group.

    So when I am an 11 axle and only 200k they are really expecting more like 250k

    Interesting, I guess it’s easier for them but that sucks. They analyze ours on a case by case basis based on weights we request.

    Almost all the other states do the same - so I can be 11 in Cali but it makes it not worth it.

    Earlier today at Alliance Oh. A few adjustments to go...The smaller piece of a overhead crane. 85ft long and they claimed it weighed 65000 pounds.
