That was on a levy, the snow was pretty wet, the temp around freezing, I had to back up through a gate and then turn onto a narrow road downhill that required a three (or four,or five) point turn to keep the trailer on the road. I'm getting old as @Lilbow and I chose to put the chains on BEFORE they were needed. A bunch of wealthy folks without much in the way of patience on that trail, so today discretion was the better part of valor.

    Injured.

But in time, I'll be back behind the wheel, and chaining up.

    You're a smart man!

I've told you this before @Oxbow you fine sir, are my favorite poster on the forum. A gentleman, and a scholar.
Iron before spinning out shows intelligence.

Now a question, what is the reach on that 329?
    Looks longer than typical.

    I'm blushing!

Not so much intelligence as a faint recollection of how quickly things can go bad.

About 60' from the center of the house.

Only thing special on that truck were the 46K rears. The 16 tire scraper jeep and homemade dolly are not everyday type of units. But one is a "special" type of idiot to want to haul those..........
