We seem to have quite a few headed north through here lately, but I suppose it gets as cutthroat as anything when there are more trucks available than towers.cke, Tug Toy, bumper Jack and 1 other person Thank this.

if you have to haul those with swing out outriggers - I would using blocking under the axle to take some of the weight off the boards - and that assumes you can jack ip the axle and place hardwood blocking underneath and that the axle will support it.
I did a “harvester” that way from TX to Cali but when the customer went to unload it, the machine broke the boards and almost flattene a tire. Yuck in totalcke, shawnhhllc, Tug Toy and 4 others Thank this. -
the manufacturers are specifying asset based carriers only - edging out subcontractors. Not total but allegedly GE is leading the charge. I tried the lease on deal briefly but it turns out I am a control freak and overall king of the aholes.cke, black_dog106, Gatordude and 5 others Thank this.

Does anyone have any pictures of a scraper being towed with the front axle on a dolly and the back axle free wheeling on the pavement?
I know I've seen this but it was years ago and nobody under the age of fifty believes they used to be moved like that.
I'm beginning to wonder about it myself. -

Thanks for that. If you don't mind I'll save and copy it for all the kids (anyone under 50) who thought I was making that up.
