This isn’t exactly a bucket truck load. At least our pockets aren’t that deep. Only touched two wires today by maybe 2”.

FerrissWheel, cke, CAXPT and 3 others Thank this.

Obviously if we had bucket trucks they would be lifting the lines but we don’t.

They were just communication lines. This isn’t the intersection but it’s the closest picture I could find. A good 10’ from the lines that bite hard. 4DF6A98B-4C83-4A32-8B0D-3C38C2E05C9F.jpeg

I’m curious, at 17’ are you running with two poles and a bucket in between? How do you work that? The first pole has a pole set at load height, the bucket lifts anything he hits, and the second truck has the normal pole at 4”-6” above Load height?

so far in 4 days my escort has tapped 20 or so things. Lights, wires ect. I’ve only touched maybe 4 of those. With the exception on the 15’8” lines, everything else has been by maybe two inches. The lights I just go around.

Not my loads but a pair of A model KW’s. Farther and son, the dark grey truck has been completely redone. It looks like it rolled off the showroom floor right into this dusty parking lot at the UT/NV line on US50. A7FFCCDB-D723-412A-83FA-CFD41C5BC0C1.jpeg EF70973C-5F83-4673-A5BB-6DE119B1EA21.jpeg

it depends, someone runs a route survey first so you know what youre dealing with beforehand
usally just 1 height pole 6 inches above and leap frog

18'+ and you start getting into everything.
