It's just 2 pieces of aluminum with some vinyl and hinges. Mounting it is up to you.

I know my current plan is to do some kind of square tube receivers under the bumper on each side and make some brackets for the sign to slide into them kind of like a trailer hitch. Going to put a couple more on top of my cabinet to store the sign so it isn't always hanging off the front of the truck.

Nice. I am looking to mount on the trailer.. Either has stake pockets or some threaded holes i could put a threaded pipe and drill some holes in to mount sign to the poles...not sure which would be better... Dont think it would be to hard, im just strucken by the disease of laziness when it comes to small projects like this..

I have so many projects laying around that I've bought parts for because it was a good idea at the time and then years later I just never get around to actually doing it. I just build a new shelf when the old ones get full of random stuff.

On this t-800 I just drilled a couple of holes and used the bumper bolts. (Ignore the extra “mounting” holes, measuring is hard) 8C441D23-8635-4685-9825-0E23702AF2CE.jpeg

It’s riveted to a piece of stainless paino hinge. The hinge is riveted to the sign. Just lift it up when I open the sign. 25CEDD8F-9EFC-45FA-A21A-C60900E2475D.jpeg

Back when I was still messing around with L&N and Coreslab we had the front sensors and the vinyl and mesh signs didn't effect them at all.

None of these trucks have em, which is why we get away with the plywood signs. Don't know if a sensor could shoot through one tho.

Anywho. After messing around with some lightweight stuff I finally got to test out the weight distro on the 2+1
For those curious on how these split, this is loaded almost all the way back.

Scale guy messed up my split weigh but I got the numbers.

I will never understand why they run white trailers but then never even try to do something about the paint. At least black paint hides rust stains.
