Apparently excavators in style this week
Just realized my partner in crime snuck into this one, checking the tires.

Just curious why you didn’t lay the bucket down against the trailer deck?
I think it would be a lot better from a tie down perspective and wouldn’t have to worry about the cylinders leaking off and making your chain loose…but it’s a new machine so probably not an issue

Seemed like a reasonable decision at the time.

If I layed it flat it would have been on my chassis chains, cause I always cross the chassis. It just cut down on how much paint I need to watch out for.

Not so worried about that on older stuff.

That and honestly, I had done it that way before. Max out the curl and arm and apply a bit of down pressure on main. No much but.... Which keeps the chain pulling in a way that it can't go further, and if it trys to uncurl it tightens the chain.

Moved this bottle last week. Not the most over sized piece, 77k pounds at 11wide.

They did put the melt car together as it was unloaded. 06C19F5D-4A56-4CAE-856E-C91607361B49.jpeg 3E6AA2EA-9981-4DA6-8291-9D46A3E741DA.jpeg
