What about reverse?
i have that problem but worse in reverse with my regular rgn especially if I forget to lock the tilt on my fifth wheel.

 

only issue with reverse nowadays in breaking a pin on the stinger

 

Have you ever had your trailer tilt from the stinger jacking sideways on a tight turn? One of my buddies did and almost lost a logging machine on a tight turn onto a bridge. I was hauling fall-off and was right behind him, loaned him 2 chains and we were able to stabilize the trailer by dumping the air on the stinger.

 

I got a nifty little switch in the cab that dumps the 4th/stinger

 

@stwik I believe you frequent the Baltimore port..... what time do they open? Or, what time can we start going through the gate? I know Mid-Atlantic starts up about 730-8. But, every time I go back there Im like the last one in cause everyone has arrived before me!!

 

You can get in (phone booths) around 0630-0645. I think.

Midatlantic OPENS (the office) at 0800 sharp, not a minute earlier — yea, people will be sitting in line by 0715-0730.


Ceres, Shed 12, and the PDC all start at 0700

Take it from me — have breakfast, hit the phone booth by 0830. You will be at Midatlantic by 0900-0915 and unless it’s a day after a holiday weekend (this morning) you will spend less than 10 minutes in the office because the line is GONE by then.

 

What holiday was this weekend?

Also, I believe auto carriers are allowed in earlier. And if you do go in early and see everyone backed up in the #2 lane. Often I’ve found someone either goes to sleep or needs a twic escort. So going around them may be worth a shot.

I like the idea of holding off until the crowd gets in.
