So after the tire check part of your pre-trip, you can only drive for two hours, right?

 

Now their is a very nice looking working truck and trailer..
Would hate to have your tire bill..

 

Probably should stick two more axles under that trailer…I think they’d fit lol

 

I didn't see any chains for being wrapped up in looking at that insanely cool rig the man has!

 

Did another of these modules. 21 days of waiting for it to be ready. 2 weeks to get it delivered. Sat for 4 days at the SC/GA line waiting on a SC permit.

The thing was only 41K lbs. Had to use 4 1/2" chains at the front to pull it down 4" to touch the deck so I could actually be at permit height. Used a 2ft pipe to tighten the binders.

Stretched the trailer as far as I could to try to get it to bend down a bit.

14'9" W x 16'6" H x 101'L 95K gross



Grabbed this dump truck to head back to TX. Its nice being legal dims for a bit.

 

You rented an apartment in Houston yet?

Not yet. Only reason I came back is because I left my booster here. Should find out tomorrow if they have anything more for me to do. After all the issues we've been having with these loads they finally switched over to using stretch rgns for the rest of them. I offered to go home and get mine until they sent over the adjusted rates. Not worth a week of dead heading now. They might have some stuff I can do with my step but I. On vacation in 2.5 weeks so I'll probably only get 1 more piece for this project.

 

785 chassis delivered today in Norfolk. Had to drag this one through @OLDSKOOLERnWV territory. Mountain Parkway, 460, 114, US23, 119, 64. Wasn’t bad just worked the gearbox and barely made it to Whites before running out of fuel.


Down to Georgia I go for Monday.

 

Yea that detour through here sucks lol…
