I am also going to New York. Again. Should be the last load on this one though. Maybe 10K lbs for all of it including a 11'6" wide tank.

It's 10'3 high. Only way to get it to legal height was on the back of this trailer with 19.5s.

My choice was tank on the back of this or drag my stretch RGN out there and be 56K empty.

how heavy is that one? How far are you stretched or did you use deck inserts?

This one is only 34k pounds so super light. At 44 foot long and 13 wide it’s not the largest by any measure. The height is only 14’3” which was enough to put us in some fun PA back roads.

One of the guys pre loaded it so I don’t know exactly how it’s set up. It looks to be stretched about 10ft so there should be a long insert to make the 44. I was returning from my adventure in western Ohio.

    thanks

trying to figure out if stretched out with 70k at 65’ (42’ plus 2 deck inserts) whether the famonville trailer will support the load or belly out on the ground

Have you considered putting all the shims you can find in the trailer? That’s what these fellas do. 9CB164DF-41F3-490D-A243-B78C8D7737C6.png

I don’t have one - just kicking around the idea. The problem is the buildings are only semi self supporting verses those rail cars which are totally self supporting

so kinda the idea of a 2 point load - each end of the well (rail car) vs 3 point load - both ends and weight in the center of well ( building)

Hard to actually come up with a definite answer without an engineered load diagram and Faymonville using their special “software”
