How much time did you get to spend up at the mine this summer.

 

About 3 months. Left when the corn was just leafing out. Got home a couple weeks before bean harvest. Lol
It depends on the year but mid May is about when a guys got a reasonable chance of making it up the mine road. It can snow overnight well into june. Per my water licence I can't do anything from sep 15 to oct 15. Can't interfere with the caribou fornicating.
Couple years the kid can run the farm and keep the truck moving. I can keep digging.

At least I have a nice backdrop while waiting for my state patrol escort over soldier summit. Was supposed to be 17’6 wide. Ended up being only 16’6”.

18 bolts between both sides and 4 were so fed up it took a 1 inch plug to fix a m18 hole

 

My luck the rest will break off on the way out.

Not particularly lol but those are always a good challenge especially when someone beats you to it and has drilled and retapped half a hole of or at a bad angle
I am going to haul some hay today and then I think I’m going to be done until next year. Translation … trying to catch up on some of my own crap.
