No that was after waiting for afternoon curfew post delivery. I am at the Morongo casino for dinner and sleep - too tired to play poker

Only hauled a couple of turbines/shafts but the ones I have done were actually bolted to the saddles. Making it a single piece which allowed securement of the saddles for the front to back & side to side, thus allowing the few spots you could throw a strap over to finish out with downward pull.

Here is what I know about the person who tied this down,
It was definitely secure against all
Movement, trust me, this was not coming off the trailer -
kinda like this.

I know too but I'm not going to tell either.

The angles not the best to be sure but it looks a tad to far back on the trailer?
Tarp? do you still need to, did you already unwrap the present, Or did you skip that step?

The only thing that I can come up with is this:
The straps hold the contraption down, but not so much from sliding forward or backwards. The block design will keep the thing from being able to slide forward and backwards as it appears that the blocks are bolstered together (front and back) by the red rod going through the bottom blocks on the drivers side. I can't see well enough to know, but it appears as if there is a spot on the top blocks for an additional rod to connect the top blocks together, which after chaining the blocks down, should prevent any chance of the blocks shifting with the load. I don't see another rod connecting the top blocks. I cannot see well enough to tell if the chains tying the blocks down go from trailer rail, over the blocks, and back to trailer rail on same side for sure. If they do, then there must be something protruding up from the top block to prevent the chain from just pulling off of the end. Perhaps whatever it is connects the top and bottom blocks vertically, and if so, my theory on the upper rod missing is kind of silly.
My guess is that I am way over-thinking this, and it's something simple like "you didn't cover the stack".
That's my best guess.Last edited: Jan 20, 2016
