Right to the limit of the tires eh? Crazy but alright. I’m rarely worried about how high the highest is it’s always been about who has the lowest along my route and how much detour is involved to avoid them.

    They belong!

Western Canadian rigs with the jump jeeps, rear load trailers and different boosters are interesting. I enjoy seeing how the laws and needs of a region dictate the design of the equipment.

160 on 8 is legal about everywhere. Some places don’t like a quad and want a 3+1.

Not even close to the tire limits. Run out if deck and axle rating first. Ratings are so far from what something will actually handle before it breaks.

    Texas...
No quads. Oh you got 5 in a row? Send it.

Nothing but straight roads that cover hundreds of miles.

Doesnt Komatsu, you can open the fenders to put your chains on, then close them up? All the ones Ive hauled have that option.

The 500’s yes. I don’t think the 480’s have swing out fenders. I may be wrong, but I seem to remember that they didn’t. I don’t know about the 380’s or 270’s and stuff. I haven’t hauled many of the smaller ones.

I think 475’s have partial fender and mud flap but if I remember correctly there were bolts involved. Didn’t help, was easier to crawl into the trailer and reach for em.

you get heavy yet on the 3-1? Curious what you’re getting to the steer for weight.
