    I have to haul this tomorrow. It's a Chieftain Powerscreen. Anyone ever haul one?

    I went by to check it out today but the starter is off (new one suppose to be on tomorrow).

    There were about 6 hydraulic levers next to the ignition box. Should be simple enough I HOPE.

    This one should be similar to it, sometimes you have to put the tracks up on blocks to clear neck.

    The levers fold up the conveyors and what not. There should be a remote for travel.
    The worst part about hauling screens is cleaning all the rock that can break someone's windshield out. Hopefully the screening crew will have done a good job of cleaning.

    @johndeere4020

    So I load the left side of my pic above my neck. I have steel ramps that go up about 4", should that be enough? I will look for some blocks to bring with me regardless.

    @Oxbow

    Do all screens have remotes for driving? Could it be a wired control box?

    Not necessarily, but most of them have either a wired or wireless remote. Seems as if I hauled a track mounted impact crusher once that had a little platform to stand on and run the levers.

    The remote is real handy for being able to be in a position where you can see your clearances to the transition of the trailer axles, and getting centered.

    Those screens are heavier than they look usually too.
    Also, one of the levers will turn the shaker on, and one may be for dumping the grizzly. They should be marked, but if there not you'll figure it out pretty quick.

    Yea

    The levers are in the door that is open directly above the tracks so it would make it pretty difficult to push them, lean over the tracks and walk at the same time.

    I believe that the screen portion height is adjustable, you may find it handy to raise it up a bit when loading. Have your tape measure ready, you may not be able to load it like the one shown in the picture that JD4020 showed, with the hopper forward. And as he said, have some blocks ready if you need to raise the hopper end to get it on.

    Well the mechanic never came and installed the starter. See a brand new one here sitting in the box. Chilling, killing time to see if he shows up before I call someone.
