Yes, it isn't that there isn't the power on Euro trucks, more that rotators aren't so easy to come by and thus are imported as a complete unit. I don't live there anymore and visit rarely, last time was 20 months ago. Haven't noticed any here though.

Mill rolls. For rolling steel. Some of them get pretty heavy. Largest one I have hauled was 80,000. And it wasn’t even a large one

Yes, exactly. We have a remanufacturing facility here where I live that rebuilds paper rollers for paper mills. Paper rollers instead of the steel rollers you mentioned. I have seen these trucks with like 4 axles under the trailer. but geez... that flat I seen the other day had like 8 axles under it...lol. That was a serious flatbed.
