So once you put the pin-on on the spreader bar. It doesn’t steer any longer? Well besides the pivoting. We never take ours off because it’s such a pain when you’re alone.

 

correct. There is a little tiny steering arm that goes from the spreader bar to the steering arm that holds the axle fixed. It adjusts with a giant wrench to make sure it tracks straight - as when you put the arm from the 3rd to 4th axle as a closed quad.

all in all it works pretty slick, except when you corner it kicks the booster way out in the opposite direction. I had to change how I set up for corners to reduce/delay the kick. It would be pretty easy to wipe out car in the right lane when turning left

Right now the plan is to go back and get it next month. Although it will only be sitting out here anyway.
