The stick would be almost on the ground before the knuckle hit the deck in my case.

How long is the reach on that one? It looks about 4-5’ longer than most. Maybe it’s just your shorter well playing tricks on me.

I think it is 60' from the center. This is a Cat boom, but we have rented others that had a Pierce boom and they are configured a little different in that they don't extend out as far because of either the length of the stick cylinder or it's position, so there is a difference between manufacturers.

ETA - I suppose the length of the transport bar has a lot to do with it too.

Yes, I used to drive for Buntine Roadways in Katherine, but that was back in the '60s and I don't remember any laws at all in The Territory in those days, but then we never reached anywhere near those limits. :D

That looks like a lot of work! It is pretty, and I like the brand, but my ole tractor probably would struggle moving it empty - have to hire you to come push.

Depending on who is or which political party controls the government during 2016 for a brief period the government reintroduced unlimited speeds between Alice Springs and Tennant Ck, once a new government came into power that was quickly changed back to a max speed of 130 km per hour.

    IMG_2729.jpeg IMG_2730.jpeg IMG_2731.jpeg IMG_2817.jpeg A couple sizable forklifts I saw recently.
I find the specs on the Toyota interesting. Obviously an indoors machine, but figured the operator station would need more fall protection than it has.
It also had (what I think are) the longest forks I’ve ever seen on a forklift. The forks are the gray pieces that are on top of the fenders and extend from behind the machine up to the mast.
