Big Loads - Post Photos Number 2

Never been too the brewery but like the beer. The coolest part about it is that's it's the hometown beer basically

 

So today was fairly busy for me. First I hauled a chip spreader back to the shop... I hate when the wheels are different widths, I mean the axles on the front are narrower than the back.

Then I got to move this 270 Komatsu....

And the last load of the day consisted of road plates. These are the steel plates that you see over portions of the road that have been dug up.

 

LOL.... you got one of them skinny hoes! Not that skinny hoes are bad though. Ask @Chinatown as long as it is a good hoe that is! There are about 20 MCS officers here in town this week. Probably doing more training.

 

@Rontonio , you were saying something about vans, rates, heavy haul & broker confusion? This was in my inbox this morning from a regional carrier here, cracked me up! Gotta have at least 1 yr. of experience, though.....

Just returned a call to a guy that offered to "give me" 4 loads out of Tacoma, 1 every 3 weeks, 58k & 11'6"w, 1100mi for $1397. When I asked "are you a broker or the shipper" he hung up....
