Big Loads - Post Photos

I see you guys in Tacoma all the time, they pull some pretty heavy stuff out of there.

 

Thats where I was today, man that place is busy! And some of those guys load super fast! Sucks for me right now that I don't have a twic card so I have to be escorted in the gate 100feet lol

 

Sounds pretty glamorous to me. I realize it isn't easy but I love being challenged. I realize I'm no where close to being ready to pull a load like that but the thought of having a challenge that big is intriguing to me. Pulling crane support loads, I realized a lot of guys aren't cut out for all the sitting and waiting. Or they ain't prepared to be sitting all day in the middle of no where without being able to take off to go get food.

I really enjoyed the detail you put in the story, thanks hammer.

Here's a new 988F at the CAT dealer going to the coke plant at the Phillips Santa Maria Refinery near Arroyo Grande Ca. 2005 . I thought this was a good pic of the mini ex next to the 88 getting ready to load also. Wasn't uncommon to do a 9 axle load, switch trailers then come back and haul a pallet jack!!
