    It helps a lot. I’m married so I’m hoping to do the grind for a couple years and then go more local. This is my plan anyways.

    I spend a lot of unnecessary money on my Harley and pickup truck. I’m hoping when I’m on the road the spending will slow down.

    Alot of smaller companies will take you right out of an independent school. I've gotten home everyday since I started. I've worked hellish hours and commuted 30 miles each way in my car but I got home. Google trucking companies in your area and start making calls. That's what I did. I found a local milk hauler that took me right out of school. I trained for a week and then hit the road myself. If you can talk to people and make them take interest in you you'll be surprised at how flexible hiring requirements can be of you call the right place at the right time.

    There is a thread on here if you look it up and tells you which companies use cameras and best of luck and be safe
