Biggest cummins that can go in "small" T800?

    I will rephrase since the "not quite "full" front fenders" is throwing me off.

    Do you have under hood air cleaner or outside cleaners?

    What is the distance from the bumper to the back of the cab? 112" or 123"

    He's talking about the t800sh "short hood" which is not very common. Ism, m11, c12 were the common motors for this truck, maybe c13. Never had a n14, OSX, and the problem with the Detroit is the length. To fit any large engine you would need to modify the lower firewall area.

    At my work we have ISM and M11 Cummins in those short hood T800s. We also have short hood W900B models that are concrete trucks that have small bore motors also like the C10 and 3306C model Cats. They done have much more room under the hood....

    These short hood t800s are actually very common and most common in all fleets running flat ground and/or regional routes. And to my dismay sure do amount to a whole hell of a lot of the ones for sale online... Throughout the entire country... As for answering my question, it lies in the distance from bumper to back of cab as stated. Thank you sirs
