i drove an 85 white that had a headlight zip-tied in, no tach, and you had to use pliers for the trailer brakes. real rough shape, but drove like it had seen half the miles!

man that old cat would not only smoke, but pull like a freight train! all the way up to it top speed of 65. downhill.

Mine was a 1970 Pete.. Crawl through sleeper, manual steering, broken window cranks,(had sticks and duct tape in the door pannel to keep the window up) no A/C, disconnected front brakes, exaust was rusted out so only 1 stack worked, no step on passenger side, 13 speed w/ a cummins 290 small cam that had a compression release to stop the engine. (If you were inpatient and let it back in b4 it stopped the engine would run backwards), 4:11 rears.. nothing worked.. no fuel guage, diff. temps, just the rpm, and speedo...

Was "rescued" from a gravel pit in 1988.. It lasted about 6 months before it died... (engine blew)..

In a close second was a 1982,c/o KW that would beat the snot out of you.. 400 cummins, 13 speed, spring ride..

A 1959 B Model Mack. 45 MPH with a load of cattle, had holes in the floorboard, splashed slush and rain water in your face, was 180 degrees in the summertime, had a straight stack and smoked so bsd it made whiteface cattle blackface. Had to hold it in 5th gear w/your foot when pulling. What a truck, I was 21 and in heaven.

70 something GMC coe astro, that thing had spring ride axles but a short frame, air ride seat but that thing beat me to death going down the road, i was in the chiropractors office more than i shoulda been from that truck, and it made my leg numb after a couple hundred miles, had a heck of a time walking after getting out of it, it had a 250 cummins and a 10 speed, no p/s and no a/c, hope that truck is in the bone yard.
