Had one like that this morning at breakfast, this guy was so loud on the phone screaming at someone people were actually getting upset and it was so tiring we all got our food and left but when I paid my bill, I told the waitress I’m paying for the idiots and his buddy’s meal too and told her to give him a note after I get in my truck:

“I bought breakfast for you and your friend because the entire ******* restaurant wants to eat in peace, don’t care what your problem is so either st f u or leave”

the waitress handed it to the manager smiling after she read it, he said he will definitely give it to the guy.

In what way? What would you rather them do that they are in when it comes to respecting a driver's time?

Well, I ended up getting that meal for free on the house. First time in my life that's happened. The service was horrible. Waited 20 min before my order was taken. Waited another 20min or so before my drink came. Waited 45 min or so for my food. Food came out and wasn't even close to what I ordered. They apologized and said they would make mine. Waited another 30min or so for my actual food to show up. The whole time folks were walking out. Manager came out and apologized. There were 3 working and she was training 2. The cook and waitress were both in the first week there. This gal had here hands full. She said the meal was on the house and I wasn't arguing. Left a tip on the table. Whole ordeal took 2.5 hours.....at the huddle house. I've had a few experiences like this lately, but this was the worst by far.

Keep appointments or hire enough people that it doesnt take all day to load/Unload. The load that I have on now it took shy of 9 hours from the time I rolled in the gate to when I left. 9 hours! It was a steel plant. Time is of no concern of theirs if it's your time. However, if your late for an appointment for whatever reason.....all hell is likely to break loose at most places.

And to me, that's the kind of man who'd put up that "F.U. J. B." on a giant flag for everyone to see in the neighborhood within 5 mile radius.
Inconsiderate of someone else's peace of soul and clean spirit.

But...was it not the 1st amendment issue awhile back in the political basement section?

This is the kinda thing I'm talking about, it's especially frustrating if you have an early unload appointment but still miss your next trip due to 12 hours at one customer.

Spot on. A place I grab trailers from decided to hire this horrendous demonic ***** of a woman to ingate. She will demean you, complain about anything you do, make up rules, etc. but the moment you hint a attitude back she’s hyper offended and gets multiple other people involved. I think shippers and receivers are within the top 5 subsets of humans with scum hearts and bad breathe. They are among the softest most reactive people I’ve dealt with. They’re attitude is whatever, but if they can treat someone with so much distaste but can’t handle that same treatment back, they immediately achieve the rank of someone who sprinkles dolphin dandruff on their cereal.
