    Anyone know anything about Bill Davis Trucking...a reefer company out of Batesville, AR?

    I live in Jonesboro, Ar. I called them about a job once. They run almost all northeast and then loaded back to the Batesville area. They don't pay much but you get to drive an almost new Pete or Kenworth. I guess the guys that work there like it. I never see an ad that they are looking for drivers. That says a lot. A trucking company that doesn't advertise looking for drivers is almost unheard of now days.

    Yeah, I see them On I-40 in Az. all the time. Black trucks/trailers. I want to say Bill Davis is a race car driver or Nascar driver, but don't hold me to that. I just kind of remember that from a past life.

    Since I only want to give out factual info here, I googled Bill Davis trucking and I see that he owns Bill Davis racing in the Carolinas. His website, Bill Davis Trucking, states he owns 33 trucks, which is a very small company. In business since the '70s with dedicated accounts. Which means he doesn't have to go looking for freight. Based in Batesville, Ar.

    I didn't know Bill Davis owned a nascar team. I googled it as well and it's true he does own a team.

    Also I found out in the google search that Bill Davis Trucking filed for bankruptcy in '07. I guess things worked out though. I was going through Batesville a couple of months ago and they are still in business.
