Blackballed by current company!

    That's a good idea...I know he had a report on it. never issued a ticket. It shouldn't cost too much to get a copy of that report.

    In my area of the country the cost is between free and five dollars I think.

    after a couple of days to digest what happened, i'm going to redouble my efforts and just spam a bunch of companies to see if I can get on board with someone that offers health care, or a higher wage to afford it on my own. The sooner the better. I'll look for a company that will accept a preventable on my record just in case he does it to me again.

    It's bad that you have to do this to begin with, but a lot of people i know never quit, and say that they are having family problems at home, and need 2-3 weeks off. That gives you 2-3 weeks to get settled somewhere new, and then call in to quit.

    I shouldn't say this... but I am tired of drivers getting screwed.... but on the other hand.... I know drivers screw the companies too..

    You have a CDL, and a clean MVR, and you can't find work? Check the little box that says "NOT OK to contact", and if asked for a reason, state that he is your present employer and you are concerned about retribution. It's worked for me, I haven't been out of work for any longer than it takes to get a background check run.
