I'm not as harsh as some because I know a thing or two about crst but een at that with 3 accidents I would have definatly been keeping my head down and being thankfull I was still employed not bringing up safety isues or any other issues.
You should have been looking for another job if they wern't on your driving record you wouldn't have to tell the new co. Now you will have to explain them all.
ANd you act like 3 accidents is nothing. You did more damage in under 6 months than I have done in 13 years

And you didn't think that boulder you ran over was a "safety issue"?
LOL You said, a giant boulder got drug. As if the boulder just jumped in your path, underneath your trailer, reached up with his arms and grabbed your tandems! LOL
You should have told him, "Get me legal for California"!

Be honest to yourself man. You ran over a boulder that was big enough to get stuck! Wow!

You know what else probably happened? You tried to reverse to get that boulder out didnt you? It wouldnt come out, so they had to call a wrecker! OMG An extra $350.00 + the road you destroyed!
    OR

You damaged the tandems so much with that boulder, your rig wasnt driving properly.

Something more happened with that boulder because you didnt slap it in reverse and keep on truckin!

I guess I came to the wrong place to ask for advice.

I also guess you have to be an ex military person to know why I mentioned that. They are super safety concious, due to the large amount that they have to pay for an injured or dead soldier.

Just one more thing before I stop wasting my time here. I made the mistake of assuming that, at my age, I could handle driving with another person. I should have realized that trying to sleep while being being bumped around by a driver even less experienced than me would not provide enough rest.

To top it off my co-driver either was crazy or going through menopause because she was hell to work with. Example- She despised my computer and GPS, so much that when it was on and I happened to ask her a question, her reply was- "Why don't you ask your "machine"?". At the same time, she thought nothing of waking me from a dead sleep to help her read the map.

Before you go off on me for making excuses, keep in mind that I have no intention of monitoring this post anymore because it is obvious that the people here are of no help.

People are of help on here and many are vets. I am one. What you don't get is your approach. You had 3 accidents in less than 6 months with a company that I would never consider. You brush off the 3 wrecks as nothing happened and blame the company for not heeding to safety issues. Using your military background how about appling the risk assesment the NCO's use to dertemine what is a risk factor? Seems to me that your driving skills comes up as a red flag. Take some military bearing and own up to the fact that you were a high risk to the company and that is why they let you go.

Alan, I am sorry that you didn't hear what you wanted to hear. Most experienced people that use and post on this forum know that 3 accidents in 5 months is inexcusable in the trucking industry. You make it seem as if the trucking company should just get over it! You also blame everyone else for your lack of driving skills. Now, in your most recent post you are blaming your co-driver. So far you blamed, CRST, your trainer, your co-driver, and that boulder that jumped in your way! Is none of this Alan's fault?

Alan like I said in my previous post. You need to be honest with yourself. It is not everybody else's fault. Accept responsibility and the fact that maybe trucking is not for you. I wish you well in your endeavors. Please take this with you, just because you didn't like the advice and the facts presented on your situation does not mean that the information is wrong, maybe you are.

You are super safety conscience, but yet you didnt see that boulder!

Maybe she had that attitude because when she did try to offer assistance you acted like you knew everything!
To bad your high tech military equipment didnt say, "Watch out for that boulder Alan!"

First of all, a mirror at minimum costs a couple hundred dollars to replace, including labor, a fender starts about $1000 and dragging a boulder not only damages the landscaping, but can damage the trailer as well. But the REAL problem is that ALL of these "minor" accidents were caused by your inattentiveness. Irrespective of your Military Service (which really doesn't indicate any "fitness" to preform), your actions and especially your attitude DOES indicate someone that may have a bit of a problem.

Alan, although your Military Service is Honorable, it has no meaning and doesn't correlate in the real world of trucking, if you are unable to operate a Commercial Vehicle in a SAFE manner. Having 3 "parking-lot" accidents; no matter how minor, with-in a 6 month period indicates you may not be.
Blaming other people also indicates you may be unsuitable for this job as well.
It ALL boils down to ATTITUDE, dude.
