I had this problem and it was because I turned the key from on to start before it cycled through its "on" position process. I had to disconnect the battery cables for around 3 or 4 minutes then reconnect them. When you turn the key on give it a minute before you turn the key to start the engine. That should fix your problem.
I had the same issue on a 2009 Volvo Vnl 780. It was bc I turned the key straight to start and didn't turn it to "on" position and wait for it to cycle through its process. I had to disconnect the battery cables for 3 or 4 minutes then reconnect them. Turn the key to "on" position and wait for about 30-45 seconds before you start the engine. This should fix your problem.
2008 ws 4700. Yesterday I went to trunk 4 ways on, popped fuse breaker. Rest tried again, something. Right turn signal works, left and 4 ways pop fuse. All wires under dash are white. What is going on
