You'll have to go back a few pages, but the OP mentioned in a earlier post the vehicle was hard to control at 60mph. I don't condem driving with a blown tire as you are allowed to drive to a parking haven (this actually was illegal before '03 if you were hauling hazmat). I condem acting like a blown tire is nothing to worry about. Also, you need to reread my statements. My standpoint is based on the other tire going. If you don't think losing 2 tires on the same trailer axle won't cause the trailer to fishtail, then I also invite you to call your local PD and run over a set of stop sticks.

The OP noted the trailer fishtailing, not me. Yes, I pulled a tri axle before. Have you ever had a tire blow on one and drove it at 60? I doubt it.

No one here knows anything about me, so stop making assumptions and stop acting like I'm ignorant.

No, he said it was hard to keep it under 60 as he is used to driving 75, because he was babying the single tire. In his case, his blown tire WAS nothing to worry about. If he pulled the casing off, the most DOT could get him for, maybe, depending on the good tire's actual weight ratings and how the load was spread out over the tridem group, was overweight on the singled out tire.

We're just going by the content of your posts, which are not indicative of a lot of knowledge in this industry, or at least anything over the 12/34/34.

And that's where you're going wrong. You need to look at what I said in it's entirety. Not part of what I said. If you went just off part of it, then yeah it isn't right.

I must have misread that then. I have pulled a tri axle tandem before but never had a tire blow on one. My argument isn't based on a single tire though, and I think that's where you're misinterpeting what I'm saying.

Yes, as been mentioned in this thread a 100 times, it was 96k. With 42 on drives and 42 on trailer.

Never said I fishtailed or the vehicle was hard to control. Don't know where some of u are getting this from. If I wouldn't have heard it blow, wouldn't if even known a lost it. Especially at night when I couldn't see the cap blow off in the dark

That is a lot of flat tires in a short amount of time. How often do you put a gauge on them to check tire pressure? Thumping isn't accurate.
