Anyone got anything on them? I am trying to get on and can't find a thing about them anywhere good or bad. I know that they have been in business since 99 from what I can gather. Just want to know if it is worth the time and hassle?

I think they do a lot of "just-in-time" expedite freight with Nissan.

I don't know a thing about them. I don't even recall ever seeing one of their trucks. If you're looking for a good company in middle TN, I would recommend Big G Express out of Shelbyville. I've been with them for a year now and I'm very happy there. PM me if you would like more info. And no, I'm not a recruiter. I'm just a plain ole driver.

Boatman specializes in expedited freight. It's not like typical regional or otr trucking and definitely not for slackers. You'll work odd hours, around the clock and drive less miles. Do lots of very short hauls at times. They certainly have nice, new equipment. Wonder if they pay percentage? That would be the only way I'd drive a company truck with a co specializing in expedite - percentage pay.

From what I have gathered from Bob Gale (Safety and recruiting), they do expediting of loads mainly for Nissan. They do pay a percentage, starting at 30% for the first 90 days, and moved up to 35% there after. They have an account that is typically a multi-stop, and second stop on pays an additional $50 to the driver each stop. Don't seem too bad.

Yeah 35% is good. As long as they're honest about the rates they're pulling.
