Did you guys hear Bob Evans sold its restaurants to Golden Gate Capital.

Bob Evans is going to concentrate on making food for there grocery stores.

Wait, Bob Evans has grocery stores? I mean I have bought their sausage and other fine products. Even ate at one of the restaurants back east along time ago. Darn good food. That's a shame they sold though.

I think @Mike2633 meant "for" grocery stores instead of "for their" grocery stores. Their restaurants have been suffering for years, and many have closed.

Side note: about 30 years ago I saw ol' Bob himself at the Bob Evans in Gahanna, Ohio. He was going around, shaking hands. And my girlfriend in high school was friends with his granddaughter or something.

Basically what I'm saying is that I'm almost famous.

Hmm. Not sure about the Big Boy restaurants. Wasn't there both Bob's and Frisch's Big Boys? Pretty sure the Frisch's ones still exist.

Well, I did a quick search, it appears Bob Evans is not affiliated with the Big Boys and is alive and well.

Good food. They just didn't give you much of it.

Laat time I ate there I wished I would've ordered for two. Haven't been back since.

I've never eaten at Bob Evans, once upon a time a Bobs Big Boy was around the corner along with a Sizzler seafood and steak house. when I think of bobs the sizzler is automatically included.

I preferred the sizzler however, Red Lobster restaurants are much better
