RVs can be hauled from the manufacturer to the dealer by such rigs... which is commercial transport. Just make sure you've got all your t's crossed and i's dotted.

You best get going before the first snow blows, bobtailin' the northern route in a single screw, well I'll just say, remember the song by Simon/Garfunkel, "slip slidin' away"......

Ok well then if that's the case have fun. But I wouldn't run 94 I'd stay on 90.

You are giving the folks @ US Customs too much credit. A truck, is a truck, is a truck to them. They don't give a fark about singled out tires or axles or changed hitches.

    Good luck, pack some lube!

I tend to agree . It might be simpler to simply go through the truck lanes . Just hand them a passport and the $10.75 fee . I run to Canada regularly and cross at Port Huron which I would recommend over Detroit . I always come through into the U.S. empty and spend less than 15 minutes at the Customs booth .

If you plan on running 90 threw Montana towards Seattle, it ain't bad. You'll be fine. Just sit in the seat and shift gears.

    Rick,

Thanks for the information ... it might just make sense to pay the $10.75 and call it done. I will have to check out the Port Huron crossing - is that the one at Sarnia?

    Haulhand,
I will check out going 90 the whole way. Any good truck stops on 90 that would be good to stop and get fuel at?

And yes, I want to get going before the snow really starts to fly.

Thanks again guys for all the great information.

Yes , Port Huron is the U.S. side of the Blue Water Bridge . I haven't seen much of a line at the Canada tolls - usually only 2 or 3 trucks ahead of me . Usually less than 45 minute wait at Customs .
