How long were you there. All night or a few hours. I know the Walmart in Carlisle was real touchy on any truck in the lot, even bobtail

I don't see how you think you'll be fine in a parking lot that has a sign saying no rvs and no tractor trailers just because your bobtail. Fight the ticket and let us know how it turns out.

Like 4-5 hours during the night/early morning. Went shopping and got a few hours of sleep.

The walmart is in Easton, Pa

The point is you seen the sign, did you think it was just for that area? Its meant for the entire parking lot and you was on Walmart property where there was a sign.May have only been one But that's all they need. You wanna get technical the sign said no tractor trailer which means no tractors which you was driving and or no trailers.

    Got a question for you...

Is there a difference between these signs:

From your statement it sounds like you think these signs would mean the exact same thing. If that were that case why do signs meaning the same thing SAY two completely different things in words?

Federal law is not in play at all here. It's a state statute or a city ordinance hence the not for hire holds no water here. I can write a way longer detailed response but I'm not gonna do it on my phone lol

So they don't want RV or tractor trailer parking in the lot but you seem to think a bobtail is fine? Get real. Your pouting about a parking ticket that is what probably $25.00 maybe $50.00. Pay it and move on

They do mean the exact same thing.Truck tractor whatever they mean the same thing when they do not want semis parked there or tractors. They do not want their lot tore up is one of the reasons why they don't allow extended parking.
