Sorry, I can't help it, nitpicking on technicalities and pretty much no one is right in any case.
Tractor trailer .... very very very rare to see this except on a farm.
What everyone commonly refers to as tractor is properly called truck-tractor by all states and feds
A trailer is a fully towable vehicle self supported on wheels (think 'little red wagon' you had as a kid), what is connected to a truck-tractor is a semi-trailer, it is not a 'full' trailer since it requires the truck-tractor to support the front part of the vehicle. Another common error is semi-truck - that does not exist.
A tractor trailer would be for instance a farm tractor pulling a wagon with a tow bar and the trailer has axles front and back and fully supports it's own weight.
So, you can try to get all technical and still be wrong. If you're going to argue the facts, at least get the facts correct.
But as was said, let common sense prevail. It is obvious to the common person that they don't want trucks of any kind parked there at all. As far as RV's they can come and buy but not stay overnight, the sign did not prohibit them, just restricted their allowable stay. Pay the #### ticket and get on with life.gentleroger and HalpinUout Thank this. -

To me if a facility has no explicit truck parking, trucks should not go in there and leave their filth behind. Deliveries and pick ups are exceptions. Some Walmarts without parking have some space behind to park there and do a quick shopping. Too many treat the parking as a camping ground.

My question to everybody here is if they didn't want ANY trucks... why didn't post a sign that simply said no trucks?
Also it was walmart section that had the signs... I parked by the burger King which had no signs. Soo wtf? -

I don't think trying to split hairs here about the definition of what is / is not a tractor trailer would lead to a win in court.
I mean, I know some real dumb drivers, but I'm sure even they're keen to the notion that 'no tractor trailers' means: The combination unit, the bob or a dropped trailer. If they don't want the whole thing there why would they want only a part of it?
Lol, sorry about the hammers..... Forget to get 'em out... But since they're there.... Don't be dumb as a bag of them!Attached Files:
