You're right, it can't get anymore clear.
I didn't have a trailer and wasn't parked on their lot. Case closed.

The sign did not state you have to be in the vehicle. It read no overnight parking period.Besides all they have to do is look at the time that's on the receipt and the time driver was issued the ticket to piece this together.

He wasn't in a Tractor Trailer, he was in a Tractor with a GVW of 17,000lbs, which is the same as a local Box Truck.

The sign states No Tractor Trailers......It doesn't say No Tractor Trailers or Bobtails or CMV's

It said no overnight parking for "RVs and Tractor trailers".
Sign didn't say no overnight parking for any and everybody.

    He wasn't parked Overnight,

Overnight means All Night or A Stop or Stay lasting for the duration of one night.

Hahahahah. LMAO. You think his tractor, truck, semi or whatever you want to call it has gvw of 17,000 pounds making it same as a local box truck. Just goes to prove common sense is not so common in this industry anymore.

It is a store by store or local ordanence thing, the store in northern San Diego or la jolle has the signs there and they enforce if you stay late or overnight, the manager told me they had issues with garbage but the one south of there allowed overnight parking if you dared to.

The real problem is a trucker who doesn't know that people don't care what you call a truck, it is a truck to them and they don't or can't know the difference between a straight truck, a bob tail or tractor trailer, it is a truck.
