The houses are not hard to find once you get out of Clark Co. Some even get on the CB. Also you never loose money in Las Vegas, THEY know exactly where it goes.

I have parked many a truck down at the Hilton Hotel by the Convention Center then you can take the monorail to anywhere on the strip. If they have an event at the convention center happening, they have security checking for Hotel guests key cards, otherwise it is open lot.

I hear ya. I would like to go downtown to Binions after I got off my night shift and play a little just to relax. I'd spend about $40 max and then go home. It's fun when there's no pushy people around and the casino empty around 3 am. Oh, and it's also a blast when I can throw a $1000 at the wife.

When I was with my trainer who lives in Vegas we had an extra day before pick up. Went buy his house and dropped the empty trailer. He then asked me do you want to bobtail through the strip. I said can we? He said sure. We went down Las Vegas blvd from one end to the other turned around and did it again back to his house. Even had a few cops riding beside us and some of the bicycle cops there too. Never got a ticket or had a problem with any of them. If it is illegal they sure don't enforce it well.

I always just parked at the T/A on the south side of town, dropped $20 on a cab ride to the Bellagio and went from there. Better than driving the rig downtown, and I could have a few drinks if I wanted to as well. Just my idea

Used to park bobtail in the lot behind Circus Circus. Easy in and out off of Industrial.

We had a station right next to Circus Circus. Try getting down to there Friday night with an 85' tanker. Going into the station you had to turn from the left lane so the truck would be heading north. Then you'd have to cross over the strip to go back to Sahara to return to the tank farm. Generally people would understand what you had to do and would stop back far enough so you could get in. Whatever you did you tried to avoid that station until real late at night.

I did have one occasion that I had to go from there to another station next to Tropicana so I had to cruise all the way down the strip with a tanker. I remember it took forever but no one bothered me. But we could go just about anywhere with no problems. I'm sure if you took just a tractor down the strip you'd get a ticket.
