Bobtailing in Vegas

Hey you can park at some of the casinos without getting on the strip though and once your parked you can walk or ride to anything you would want to see.

 

Strip is posted no commercial Vehicle (ya know the truck with a circle thru it) . now gas hauler is exempt because of deliveries but years ago we use to be able to drive down the strip.. I loaded in a Show at NY NY hotel and casino on the Bridge there and went on the strip..Most of the hotels for big rigs can be reached by streets behind the Casinos... Only Commercial Vehicles allowed on the strip are Tour Buses...

 

Two things, Commercial vehicles are allowed if the are making deliveries, as there are places that have no back entrance ( I used to work at one). And when NASCAR come into town, all the driver's cars are paraded down the strip in semis. However, I would not recommend it except at 3am on a weekday.

Second, I doubt you would get a ticket 'cause where are they gonna pull you over. At worst just claim dumb tourist, and they will at most tell you to get off the strip. They don't enforce a lot of the laws, like open containers on the sidewalks 'cause so many people doing it becomes impossible to enforce.

Hell, when we had the NBA MVP game a few years back, they had to bus in gang police from LA to handle the crowds.

 

That said, you would be crazy to try to pull a trailer down there, cause the traffic can get insane ( It used to take me 30 minutes to get from Tropicana to my job, which was before Planet Hollywood---about 1/4 mile)

 

You can not bobtail on the strip(Las vegas blvd), this is true, Now!, Some people think prostitution is legal in Las Vegas?, This is NOT true!, Some people think pot is legal in Las Vegas?, This is NOT true!, Some people think drinking and driving is legal in Las Vegas?, this is NOT true!, Well accept in a cab or limo, you can drink, Years ago you could have a open container in a vehicle as long as you where not the driver, but that law changed years ago. NO open containers in the vehicle PERIOD!,

 

I have always stayed at the Mirage. I now have moved to the Wynn because years ago 1981 I got put on a list. Vegas turns out to let you state for free. Penthouse, all meals, spa, everything is free. All you have to do is spend some time playing blackjack and check this out, you leave with more money then you come in with.

Play a minus progressive bet with a 3 multiplier. Always return to your base bet on a win. If you lose 5 hands in a row get up and play poker or get something to eat. Hookers are not legal or needed. The hotel will assign you a hostess. While she will not sleep with you for money, she is very interested in all your stories.

 

Well!, I've been living in Las Vegas for 25 years, SO!, Unless you can show prove of this, I wouldnt hold my breath, Now!, cansino's like the Mirage, and The Wynn will comp these thing, But you will have to spend a LOT of money on the tables to get this, You better have DEEP pockets, stuffed with VERY large bills, And you most likely will not leave with them, There are no sure fire ways to win!!!!, Anyone tells you they win more than they loose?, I would turn and walk away from them, Casino hire whats called shills, they play on games, and are made to seem to win, this is a scheme to get you on the table/machine, Steve Wynn and other owners, Dont spend Billions of dollars opening Casino because you are going to win, Sorry Wooly Rhino, but your story has holes

 

I always leave Vegas with cash. (Oh yeah I never go into the casino, pr gamble for that matter). They are not in the business of losing. The house always will have the best odds to win.

 

Thats the only way you can drive a truck on lvblvd. Otherwise u use the back ways in and now with the new roads behind its eaiser except for the smaller businesses directly on the strip.
