BOC 3 filings and proccess agents

    Ron, glad to hear that you filed for your authority yourself rather than paying someone.

    The BOC-3 filing should cost you about $20-30 through any reputable source (though I like the idea of "FREE" through OOIDA.) It's a one time fee, as long as your authority is active...unless of course you have a change of name or address, etc. Some charge for the change, some don't. I'm using All American Agents of Process. They've been good to me until they caught onto an address change, and now they want more for the address change than some of the others charge for a new filing.

    All the other permits are easy to file for. If you're a one truck operation, it's pretty simple to keep records and file monthly/quarterly reports.

    IRP is also very easy to do. I know it looks intimidating but once you figure it out, it's a piece of cake. I've been doing ALL of my own permits, bookeeping, taxes, etc for about 12 years now.
