Ok picked up 5 steel coils at shipper. Double tarped all coils, and moved from MD to NH.
Recevior made note on BOL that coils were wet on the bottom because trailer deck was wet.
Took lots of pictures of shipper and recevior shipment being tarped and untarped.
There isn't 10 drops of water on the entire shipment, and have pictures to prove it.
CH Robinson load. Thanks for any help.
Bogus claim on steel coil being wet. Please Help!

SON OF A B****. That same place did the same thing to me with finger proof stainless steel. They put hot thin plates of steel right off the press. It was cold outside and condensation took effect. The load was tarped and every single sheet had moisture in between.
C.H. Robinson is out of the picture and so is the shipper and receiver. It's now up to your insurance adjuster to step in. Chances are they won't do anything and will pay the claim. Unless your policy has a wetness clause you will have to pay. -
