I left wfx. I would not recommend them. They will keep you on the verge of broke. Even as a company driver.

As soon as you reach your full retirement age, was 66 for me, you can earn as much as you want with no penalty from Social Security.
But the IRS will tax your Social Security depending on how much you make. And some states do too.

No offense to anyone, but WFX is a average OTR style company... I'm amazed experienced drivers thought this was going to turn out differently.

Maybe they don't hire out of school or something. I'm obviously in error putting them with Werner and USA and US Express.. The specs, and "testing me" to see how much they can screw over OP just screams puppy mill to me...

BTW I realize this forum is mostly dedicated to these level of companies, and my criticism is either wasted or out of place..

I figure you could do about 3 roundtrips per week. @800 per driver per trip that would be $4800 to the truck every week. That sounds equitable.

Yes $800 is fine. I'm not sure both drivers could get 3 trips per week but either way it is around 62cpm for team driving. If it is still in the $600 range then that is less than 50 cpm.

I don’t believe most people realize what team drivers are worth, out here. If the cpm doesn’t begin with an “8”, they best keep looking.

Got next to last (tiny) check from wfx. We shall see what they do about last check. No one seems to care that I'm gone. No one asked why i was leaving or even said good bye . Oh boo hoo. I'm devastated.

I think McLeod is going to be ok. We shall see if they do me right on home time. They already paid me for a couple hours shop time I didn't even ask for. That is a good sign.
