As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, get yourself some Spare Spikes, for those icy lots.

My T680 rides like garbage across I-70, as well. As you know, I get to do that every day. However, moving my 5th wheel forward helped. My steer tires are rated for 12350lbs, combined, so that’s about where I have it set to, with 34000lbs on the drives.

Fingers crossed Uturngirl, sorry the last one didn't work out for you. I like that your old enough to know better waiting around hoping it gets better. Life is too short.

I've heeded the experts i work with advice when it comes to getting stuck and saved myself dropping a tanker in an icy snow packed lot. I keep a bag of lime wrapped in a trash bag bungied to my deck. Clear a couple of feet of tire tracks, pack it under your drive tires and a little in front and away you go.

I might look into those spikes ducnut, how are they to drive in? When farmers overfill their tanks all that fat and cream makes for some pretty slippery driving until you can hose it off at the processor.

I’ve driven around properties with them on, but, not for any distance. They’re very stretchy rubber, so quick and easy to put on/take off.

2nd check. Pretty decent. They do pay detention and accessorial pay without a hiccup. 1st company I've ever worked for didn't cheap out on that note. Chalk one up for McLeod.
