Tell me that your overzealous safety manager has never driven a semi truck in his whole life, without actually telling me that your overzealous safety manager has never driven a semi truck in his whole life. Lol
That's awesome that TNI reached out to you and now you basically got as close to your dream job as you're going to get. Really glad that things have worked out for you. I'm looking forward to your new thread if you decide to make one.

Unfortunately, all carriers are going to this type truck set up.
And I completely LOATHE the auto emergency braking… it is so dangerous! Even tanker carriers sloshing liquid have them equipped withBennysPennys, Gearjammin' Penguin and UturnGirl Thank this. -
it has activated 1 time. and yes it messed up. car was taking a right hand exit on a sweeping left turn (i90 toll road just E of chicago). truck thought i was going to hit them and hit the brakes hard. if i remember correctly it can only autonomously apply 85% of the braking ability.
so basically, drive with some common sense and you'll never have a problem.
the active cruise control is annoying but useful in 1 lane, highway speed scenarios.like clay… +++, BennysPennys and jdchet Thank this. -
