Booby trap on a trailer, can you picture the accident?

Your video shows what can happen to ANY dry van hauling tall, heavy paper rolls and taking a curve too fast. The only thing holding them in place are rubber matts and straps. Take it easy with that load in a brand new trailer.

 

I'd never noticed the fire hydrant going @ :18 before!

 

Actually a van is a rectangular prism, and it's strength is based on integrity of all six sides. Which is why the rear frames are so stout to make up for the doors. All the sheet metal on a box trailer is part of the load bearing structure.

 

I had a trailer do that one time when I decided to take a power nap and bounced across the median strip then back on the interstate. Forgot to write it up.
