I have my CDL A license. But, I have been asked a question by a co-worker that is interested in becomming a driver which has me stumped. Can anyone recommend a book that explains how to do the skills test maneuvers?
    .
I have some written materials on passing the written CDL endorsement tests but I have never heard of a book that describes step by step how to do backing or parking maneuvers or backing up the serpentine tests. Does any such book actually exist?
    .
    Any responses would be appreciated.

NHDOT's commercial driver's manual has some diagrams that I thought were pretty good (for a gov't agency).

My plan for this, since it's a "do-it-yourself" skill anyway is to ask the old-timers I know for advice/instruction. If I'm having trouble figuring it out on my own. But I'm fortunate enough to own my own truck, and unfortunate enough that it's too old to work with. Still good for practicing maneuvers though.

I'd be very interested in such a manual though.

Perhaps this is an opportunity for an old hand to do some writing and make some extra cash?
