My freightliner century only has 6 gauges.
    Water temp
    Oil psi
    Volt
    2 air
    Fuel
I took apart the dash it has wiring for six more gauges can I cut out holes and install the pyro and boost n just plug and play or there is more to it. I have a 2004 century 14l Detroit I know the ecm reads boost for sure don't know about the egt in guessing it does too near the turbo because it has the sensors. I looked online where the boost n pyro is in the manuals and its left bottom side one shows pyro left and boost under the volt the other shows the pyro under volt and the boost next to pyro on left. I was wondering if anyone can help.

If they're wired you should be able to just plug it in. Look at the exhaust just behind the turbo to see if it has a pyrometer actually installed. As far as where to put the gauges, you can put em wherever you want if the wires reach

So I can plug it in to any of the free 6 spots and its gonn recognize what gauge it is and show boost or it's supposed to go to a specific free spot that I have.

Doesn't matter where you put it. Hook up the right wire to the right gauge it will be fine

Are the wires labeled or do you have to guess?

Multiplex wiring. As long as you use factory gauges, and use a factory Daisy chain, it should work dandy.

    mountaingote Thanks this.

I did not get a good look. I got my load canceled in Cincinnati and got stuck without a load over the weekend. So been messing with my truck and took apart the dash enough just to see that the wires are there but I didn't see if anything is labeled but their standard gauge is 4 wires or 5. My dads century has a boost gauge and its right under the volts. So on the left side of dash in the right row bottom is where his boost gauge sits. So I'm guessing all I need is to drill the hole on my dash n Put in the gauge. Because the housing with the light bulb n wires are right under the brown looking dash I have.

I would wager that one is for trans temp, 2 are for the rear ends. Probably have to see what works
