This is not the first time we've heard the horrors of this place. Most hobby lobbies in GA seem to be on the booting gag. And some walmarts. It's GA man, if your that desperate find a onramp that's doable, they are all over the place and if there's not a no parking sign, it's legal to camp there.

I used to take it a step further in South/North Carolina and the Virginia's. Trailer I'd pull had the self inflating tires, take the tube off and you have an official flat tire. Put it back on and roll on driver.

I don't know what you drive, and I for sure was not quoting the ATA, can't stand the organization and they sure as heck don't give a darn about drivers.

My career before trucking had me on the other side of the desk, so I have seen what shippers do to truckers schedules and I'm sensitive to it. Maybe you are a solar powered trucker, or a night owl. Maybe you pull flats or specialized, I don't know.

Pulling a reefer means you are held at shoppers, ELOG's mean your clock is always on your mind and at times working against you - and depending on where you deliver well it's a pain.

I already shared with you I'm speaking admittedly for others as I tend to do quite well with parking and simply acknowledge the problem. Socially I get the feeling you think I expect the government to solve my problems, far from it. I have been in executive management for Fortune 500 companies and I know they can do much more than they do.

There is a manufacturing concept called Lean that seeks to eliminate all waste, waiting is considered the biggest waste and as you know that's what we do a lot of. Now when I pull into a say Coke facility and see lean posters all over the place and end up waiting 6 hrs to get loaded I just laugh because their calculations don't include us, we don't count even tough they make it harder for us to find parking because they waste our time to enhance their profit.

    That was the point.

This is the first I've read of this type of horse #### about Hobby Lobby, but if they actually are practicing this type of extortion towards those who keep their stores stocked, then they DESERVE to be shamed.

What, you're going to park into someone's property uninvited and then claim victimhood when asked to leave?

So what if you deliver their goods? You got paid right? Take your money and leave. You think that just because you provide a service you're entitled to more things for free? Am I supposed to let the plumber sleep in my spare bedroom because he fixed my sink?

Each of us has a cross to bear. Carry yours and I'll carry mine. If you need help carrying yours ask for help but don't demand.

No, that's NOT what I said.

When one is ASKED to leave, that's one thing. If one doesn't, just call the police and pursue trespassing charges.

This booting thing however takes it to a whole other level, and being victimized by that hardly warrants any belittling.

btw im just making a point and I'm not defending HL. I always get that creepy feeling every time I walk into their store. That old model train crowd really gives off a certain wierd vibe for me.

I agree about the knocking on the door thing first. maybe the driver didn't see the signs or came in by a different entrance. I would like a warning shot, but if not.....you said Wally World was next door? I'd be over there purchasing a sawsall and be on my way in less than 5 min (I've got a big ### inverter). but that's just me

Hobby Lobby rents 95% of the square footage of retail space they use. They are at the mercy of the management company that runs the facilities. I wouldn't blame Hobby Lobby for this. I would blame the owners of the mall. Most retail space in this country is leased from a REIT.
I have delivered to there stores coming out of OKC from their DC. always treated great by their staff in and out in under a hour with a full load often offered coffee and donuts.
