I'd be slightly pissed if they're simply waiting for better rates by letting this truck and me sit for a day. Next time I'm heading to St. Pete and hitting the beach :biggrin_25525:
They should at least give me the courtesy of information. I wouldn't mind as i could really use a tan after a Indiana winter :biggrin_2559:

I do not know what they are doing or how they are treating you--but you are right they should fill you in if you are waiting--also--truckstops in Fl ALWAYS full of reefers--specially this time of year--s0 don't let number of trucks around you mean anything--besides--with maters and peppers still south and east of Tampa--sweet corn still in central fl--tampa--plant city good spot for most to wait--although parking sucks--real problem with fl is most of the decent stuff has been tied up for years--BUT this is a good time of year--as for beach--not alot of spots on West coast to get a truck--one quick secret--if you don't mind paying the toll--you can run over the skyway bridge south out of St Pete--there is a Rest Area on the causeway--southbound on the causeway approach--right on the bay--locals use it for fishing--but I have spent many a night there--and went swimming

Yea, I was thinking about the tollway earlier.

I'm treated decent, but I don't understand why such a small company would ever want to let a trick sit. Actually, they sent 3 of us down here. They should have been looking for loads yesterday.

Thanks for the Getloaded link, but the boss won't go to Chicago. It's normally down to Louisianna then back to Louisville or Indy. Obviously sometimes Florida . I don't understand why they do the things they do:biggrin_2556:

    Got link?
I only have to bring it to the yard in Clarksville, In. Then I'm off to Louisiana. Will probably load with bananas in Gulf Port or rubber pellets rom Baton Rouge. Its my typical run :yes2557:
