I've been driving local for several years now currently shagging a Timpte bottom dump for a grain elevator but under new management and they cut pay.
Considering a long haul position running a Midwest to Texas lane starting at 38 cent per mile and they say average is 3200 miles weekly and benefits after 90 days.
My last over the road was at Swift nearly a decade ago and I was wondering what has changed since then and any useful advice for a born again over the road newb?

I would not even get out of bed for that crap pay....
Try to get them up to at least .45. Use your years of experience and great record (should you have either) to negotiate....White_Knuckle_Newbie Thanks this. -
