Bottom falling out on pre-emission trucks?

You have to remember that at that time the gubment was watching the engine makers real close on what was going out of their plants. A few had to pay big fines for engines that were not supposed to be released and deemed dirty.

 

Makes me want to cry or strangle someone, mostly the latter…..

 

Had the truck ser #’s stamped on the lower right hand side of the block……1LW, 2WS,…up to SDP probably

 

I’ve thought about redoing an older truck … maybe like an 05-07 year model. Right before dpfs . Especially now that anything new that’s half decent is $200K .

 

If I weren’t worried about being ELD exempt, I’d try to find an SDP Cat in a clean 2010-2011 389 or W900…..and “fix” it!

She had what was probably the nicest N model anywhere.

I'm surprised she sold it. He probably made her an offer she could not refuse.
