Nice paint job on the cab but it looks like a lot of surface rust on the frame and what can be seen of the rear pumpkin. I would for sure want to crawl under it and have a thorough look at the frame, tank straps, cross members, etc.. Would also be nice to have some history on the drive train.

Condition and price go hand in hand. Not sure what they are asking but it could be a diamond in the rough.

Doc wants to know how is he supposed to jump up in that rascal? I thought it looked really nice inside, more than doable on the out. I couldn’t tell about the frame but maybe a good candidate for a cut off?

I spent a couple years in an 82 Freightliner COE with a 400 A model and a 13 speed. It was a decent truck, but I can't recall ever missing the joy of trying to get dressed laying on my back. I recall getting enough clothes on to keep from getting arrested for indecent exposure and thi finishing the task outside.

No there asking 17k for it and i wanted some opinions from some experts I'm wanting to look at it if it still available when I get home.
They do have the original paper work from when it was bought in 79 with records up until 2000s has 1.1 million miles on it with a overhaul done at 9××××× miles done in 96

The interior sure looks clean, which could mean that the rest has been taken care of as well.

I'm no expert, but it appears that there has been some pride in ownership.
